At the beginning of 2005, Rita Pasquale, a Swiss homeopath with contact to Tamils in Switzerland and Sri Lanka, came to us with a request for a first aid project, from which the tsunami project developed. As project manager she coordinated the cooperation with local homeopaths in the east of Sri Lanka, which had been devastated by the tsunami.
The aim was to support the work of the homeopaths in the Free Clinics. They looked after those people who had lost their homes and were accommodated in camps. Homeopathy proved to be an effective and inexpensive method to help traumatised people.
The first aid project was handed over to Rita Pasquale after 2 years.
